Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1302108 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) electrical connector (2).

    3. Object Number: 880951 Size: SH
  3. Remove the VSS with O-ring seal.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 880951 Size: SH
  1. Install the VSS with O-ring seal.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

  2. Connect the VSS electrical connector (2).
  3. Lower the vehicle.
