Front Fog Lamp Replacement Canyon

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1386386 Size: SH
  1. Remove the fog lamp bulb and socket. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement.
  2. Remove the bolt (1) securing the fog lamp to the fascia.
  3. Remove the fog lamp (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1386386 Size: SH
  1. Position the fog lamp (2) to the fascia.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fog lamp to fascia bolts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  3. Install the fog lamp bulb and socket.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove either the LF or RF wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the front fog lamp electrical harness from the fog lamp bulb.

Front Fog Lamp Screw (Qty: 2)

Tip
Remove and discard the two screws.

Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Screw

Remove and discard the screw.

Front Fog Lamp Projector

Procedure

  1. Remove and discard the fog lamp projector.
  2. The fog lamp assembly is serviced as one unit.
  3. Position the new fog lamp locking ring to the tabs on the front bumper fascia and apply inward pressure to secure the new fog lamp to the front bumper fascia.
  4. Ensure all tabs are secure on the locking ring.
  5. Aim the fog lamps after the new fog lamps have been installed. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming.

Front Fog Lamp Locking Ring

Tip
Using a small flat-bladed tool, release the locking ring from the tabs on the front bumper fascia and discard.
