Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1265491 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front door upper trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the outside review mirror, if equipped with DE6.
  3. Remove the bolts retaining the outside review mirror to the door.

    4. Object Number: 1265485 Size: SH
  4. Remove the outside rearview mirror from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1265485 Size: SH
  1. Install the outside rearview mirror to the door, ensuring the retaining tab is fully engaged.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1265491 Size: SH
  2. Install the bolts retaining the outside review mirror to the door.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the outside rearview mirror to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the outside rearview mirror, if equipped with DE6.
  4. Install the front door upper trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
