Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1251712 Size: SH
  2. Remove the fasteners retaining the switch to the trim plate.

    3. Object Number: 1251642 Size: SH
  3. Remove the switch from the trim plate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1251642 Size: SH
  1. Install the switch to the trim plate.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1251712 Size: SH
  2. Install the fasteners retaining the switch to the trim plate.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  3. Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement.
