Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1350709 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the oil pressure switch (1).
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness retainer (3) from the oil filter adapter (4).
  4. Remove the engine oil pressure switch, if necessary. Refer to Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement .

  5. Remove the oil filter adapter bolts.
  6. Remove the oil filter adapter from the engine block.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Position the oil filter adapter to the engine block.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  2. Install the engine oil pressure switch, if previously removed. Refer to Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement .

  3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the oil pressure switch (1).
  4. Connect the engine wiring harness retainer (3) to the oil filter adapter (4).
  5. Install the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
