Makes 🢒 Isuzu 🢒 2009 🢒 I-370 🢒 Body Hardware and Trim 🢒 Instrument Panel and Console Trim 🢒 Knee Bolster Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement

    2. Object Number: 1251761 Size: SH
  2. Release the tab (1) retaining the data link communication (DLC) connector to the knee bolster.
  3. Remove the DLC connector from the knee bolster.

    4. Object Number: 1276396 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fasteners retaining the knee bolster to the instrument panel (I/P) structure.

    5. Object Number: 1276397 Size: SH
  5. Release the intrigal knee bolster hangars (1) from the I/P structure.
  6. Remove the knee bolster from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1276397 Size: SH
  1. Position the knee bolster to the vehicle.
  2. Hang the knee bolster (1) on the I/P structure.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1276396 Size: SH
  3. Install the fasteners retaining the knee bolster to the I/P structure. Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 1251761 Size: SH
  4. Install the DLC connector to the knee bolster, ensuring the tab (1) is properly seated.
  5. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement.
