1. Low Air Indicator Malfunction |
The air pressure switch opens when the air pressure is between 64-76 psi, and closes when it detects the air pressure is below 60 psi.

⇒ | If the Low Air indicator does not turn ON and OFF, replace the IPC. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, refer to Air Brake System Testing. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the signal circuit terminal B for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the IPC. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the signal circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, test or replace the primary low air pressure switch. |
