Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 736632 Size: SH
  1. Tilt the cab. Refer to Cab Tilting in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the fuel temperature sensor (FTS) (1).
  3. Remove the FTS sensor.

Inspection Procedure
  1. Inspect the sensor for damage.
  2. Replace the sensor if the sensor is worn or damaged.
  3. Inspect the packing for cracks or leaks.
  4. Replace the packing if the packing is worn or damaged.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 736632 Size: SH
  1. Install the FTS sensor (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the FTS sensor to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Install the FTS retaining bolt.
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel temperature sensor.
