Makes 🢒 Isuzu 🢒 2005 🢒 Isuzu MD F-Series 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 7.8L 🢒 Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the engine oil from the crankcase.
  2. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  3. Remove the oil pick up tube and the O-ring.
  4. Remove the flywheel from the crankshaft.

    5. Important: Do not damage the crankshaft when removing the oil slinger.

  5. Remove the oil slinger from the crankshaft. Refer to Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Replacement .
  6. Remove the idler gears with the shafts from the cylinder block.
  7. Remove the oil pump with the drive gear from the cylinder block.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the oil pump with the drive gear to the cylinder block.
  2. Install the idler gears with the shafts to the cylinder block.
  3. Install the flywheel to the crankshaft.
  4. Install the oil slinger. Refer to Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Replacement .
  5. Install the oil pick up tube and the O-ring.
  6. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  7. Fill the crankcase with the proper grade and quantity of engine oil.
