Removal Procedure

  1. Tilt the cab. Refer to Cab Tilting .
  2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

  3. Object Number: 1013210  Size: SH
  4. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp (1).
  5. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.

  6. Object Number: 1013189  Size: SH
  7. Remove the radiator hose clamp bolt (1).

  8. Object Number: 1284900  Size: SH
  9. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at the engine.
  10. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the engine.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the radiator outlet hose to the engine.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp (1) to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  3. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp (1) to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  5. Install the radiator hose clamp bolt (1).
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  7. Lower the cab. Refer to Cab Tilting .
