Removal Procedure
Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing
any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to
the vehicle or its components.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

- Tilt the cab. Refer to
Cab Tilting
.
- Remove the air conditioning compressor, if equipped. Refer to
Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement
.
- Remove the generator. Refer to
Generator Replacement
.
- Remove the idler cap, bolt and pulley.
- Remove the belt tensioner bolt and the belt tensioner.
- Remove the accessory mounting bracket bolts.
- Remove the accessory mounting bracket.
Installation Procedure
- Install the accessory mounting bracket.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the accessory mounting bracket bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the accessory mounting bracket bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
- Install the belt tensioner to the accessory mounting bracket with bolt.
- Install the idler pulley on the accessory mounting bracket with bolt and cap.
- Install the air conditioning compressor mounting bolts, if equipped. Refer to

- Install the generator. Refer to

- Lower the cab. Refer to

- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to
