Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 215775  Size: SH
  1. Remove the cushion rubber.
  2. Remove the connecting rod.
  3. Remove the safety rod.
  4. Remove the return spring.

  6. Remove the safety lock assembly.
  7. Remove the safety lock hook.
  8. Remove the safety lock bracket.

  9. Object Number: 215775  Size: SH
  10. Remove the cab lock assembly bolts and the assembly unit.
  11. Remove the return spring.
  12. Remove the rebound rubber plate.
  13. Remove the rebound rubber.
  14. Remove the rebound rubber support.
  15. Remove the cab lock hook.
  16. Remove the link plate.
  17. Remove the cab lock hook.
  18. Remove the cab lock bracket.
  19. Remove the rear cab mount bracket.
  20. Inspect the rebound rubber for any cracks or damage.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 215775  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear cab mount bracket and bolts.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).

  3. Install the cab lock bracket.
  4. Install the link plate.
  5. Apply grease to the pin of the bracket. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .
  6. Install the cab lock hook.
  7. Apply grease to the support. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .
  8. Install the rebound rubber support.
  9. Install the rebound rubber.
  10. Install the rebound rubber plate.
  11. Install the return spring.
  12. Install the cab lock assembly and the bolts.
  13. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

  14. Install the safety lock bracket.
  15. Apply grease to the hook. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .
  16. Install the safety lock hook.
  17. Install the safety lock assembly.

  18. Object Number: 215777  Size: SH
  19. Install the hand lever assembly.
  20. Install the return spring.
  21. Apply grease to the safety rod. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations .
  22. Install the safety rod.
  23. Install the connecting rod.
  24. Install the cushion rubber.
  25. Adjust the hook so that the hook rests in the center of the mounting point when latched.
