Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 215675  Size: SH
  1. Remove the following components that attach the fender extension to the fender extension bracket:
  2. • The nuts
    • The washers
    • The bolts
  3. Remove the fender extension.
  4. Remove the following components that attach the fender extension brace to the fender extension bracket:
  5. • The nuts
    • The washers
    • The bolts
  6. Remove the fender extension brace.

  8. Remove the following components that attach the fender extension bracket to the vehicle:
  9. • The nuts
    • The washers
    • The bolts
  10. Remove the fender extension bracket.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 215677  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the fender extension bracket to the vehicle with the following components:
  2. • The bolts
    • The washers
    • The nuts

    Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the fender extension brace to the fender extension bracket with the following components:
  4. • The bolts
    • The washers
    • The nuts

    Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

  5. Install the fender extension to the fender extension bracket with the following components:
  6. • The bolts
    • The washers
    • The nuts

    Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).
