Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

1. Turn ON the ignition.
2. Turn the windshield wiper/washer switch to the off position.

Are the windshield wipers always ON?

Go to Step 3

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Using a test lamp connected to ground backprobe the windshield wiper motor park switch signal circuit terminal in the multifunction switch connector C2.

Does the test lamp flash when the wipers are in the park position?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Replace the windshield wiper motor. Refer to Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Replace the multifunction switch. Refer to Turn Signal Multifunction Switch Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?

System OK
