Parking Brake Adjustment Driveline Park Brake
- Block the wheels.
- Apply the park brake perpendicular to the

4.2. | Assure that the camshaft lever is free to rotate in the proper direction. |
4.3. | Check the cable to cable connection at the B.O.C. bracket. |
If threaded engagement into the hex fitting is greater than 14.0 mm (0.56 in)
reduce amount by 3.2 mm (0.125 in). DO NOT reduce engagement less than
14.0 mm (0.56 in).
- If measure force is below specification do the following:
5.1. | With the park brake lever disengaged, turn the handle adjustment knob
as needed. |
Adjustment knob should not be near the bottomed out position
in either direction.
5.2. | If handle effort can not be increased, adjust the tread up to 75 percent
engagement ay the B.O.C. bracket to allow for the correct adjustment at the handle. |
