Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Important: Ensure that a minimum of 2 threads protrude behind the nut.
Tighten
Tighten the seat belt bracket locking cable bolt so that the bolt is completely driven, seated and not stripped.
Important: Ensure that a minimum of 2 threads protrude beyond the nut or the anchor plate.
Tighten
Tighten the low back seat belt bracket bolt to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).
Important: Ensure that a minimum of 2 threads protrude beyond the nut.
Tighten

Tighten the high back seat belt bracket bolt to 90 N·m (66 lb ft).

Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt so that the bolt is completely driven, seated and not stripped.

Tighten the seat belt and the shoulder bolt so that the bolt is completely driven, seated and not stripped.
Important: Ensure that a minimum of 2 threads protrude from behind the nut or the anchor plate.
Important: Discard the original bolts connecting the seat belt to the pillar.
Important: Use NEW bolts in order to install bucket seats.
