Makes 🢒 Isuzu 🢒 2005 🢒 Isuzu MD F-Series 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transmission - Allison 🢒 Control Valve Body Assemble

    Object Number: 1276840 Size: SH
  1. Position the main valve body assembly (4) on the work table so that the worm-track side is up.
  2. Align the separator plate (2) with the main valve body locating pins (3).
  3. Install the separator plate (2).
  4. Align the shift valve body assembly (1) with the main valve body locating pins (3).
  5. Install the shift valve body assembly onto the separator plate.

  6. Position the control valve body assembly on the work table so that the main valve body is facing up.
  7. Install 14 bolts (1) retaining the valve bodies together.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (9 lb ft).

  8. Position the control valve body assembly on the work table so that the shift valve body is up.

    9. Important: 

       • The O-ring (4) is slightly larger than the O-ring (3).
       • P/N 29536833 is printed on the shift solenoid C (5).

  9. Install the solenoid O-ring (4) onto shift solenoid C (5).
  10. Install the solenoid O-ring (3) onto shift solenoid C (5).
  11. Align shift solenoid C (5) so that the electrical connector points away from the nearest locating pin and is parallel to the separator plate as shown.

  12. Position the control valve assembly on the work table so that the main valve body (16) is facing up.

    13. Important: P/N 29533074 is printed on shift solenoid A.

  13. Install the solenoid O-ring (14) onto shift solenoid A (15).

    14. Important: P/N 29533075 is printed on the shift solenoid B.

  14. Install the solenoid O-ring (8) onto shift solenoid B (9).
  15. Install the spring (10), pressure control solenoid valve A (11), spring (12), and trim gain valve (13).
  16. Install the spring (5), pressure control solenoid valve B (6), and trim gain valve (7).
  17. Install shift solenoid A (15) so that the electrical connection faces up. Do not seat the solenoid.
  18. Install shift solenoid B (9) so the electrical connection faces up. Do not seat the solenoid.
  19. Align 2 accumulator plugs (3) so that their spring bores face up.
  20. Install 2 accumulator plugs (3) and 2 accumulator springs (2).
  21. Push shift solenoid A and shift solenoid B into their bores until the solenoids seat.
  22. Align the pressure control valve retaining bracket (1) with the main valve body locating pin (4).
  23. Install the pressure control valve retaining bracket (1) so that the A and B trim solenoids, the accumulator plugs, and the accumulator springs are retained against the valve body.

    24. Object Number: 795119 Size: SH
  24. Install 3 bolts (1) retaining the pressure control valve retaining bracket (2).

    25. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (9 lb ft).

    Important: 

       • The solenoid O-rings are brown.
       • The O-ring (3) is slightly larger than the O-ring (2).
       • P/N 29536833 is printed on shift solenoid E.

  25. Install the solenoid O-ring (3) onto shift solenoid E (4).
  26. Install the solenoid O-ring (2) onto shift solenoid E (4).
  27. Install shift solenoid E (4) so that the electrical connection faces up. Seat the solenoid.
  28. Install the solenoid retainer (1).

    Important: 

       • The solenoid O-rings are brown.
       • The O-ring (3) is slightly larger than the O-ring (2).
       • P/N 29536833 is printed on shift solenoid D.

  29. Install the solenoid O-ring (3) onto shift solenoid D (4).
  30. Install the solenoid O-ring (2) onto shift solenoid D (4).
  31. Install shift solenoid D (4) so that the electrical connection faces up. Seat the solenoid.
  32. Install the solenoid retainer (1).

    33. Object Number: 795114 Size: SH

    Important: 

       • The solenoid O-rings are brown.
       • The O-ring (6) is slightly larger than the O-ring (5).

  33. Install the solenoid O-ring (6) onto the torque converter clutch pulse width modulated (TCC PWM) solenoid (7).
  34. Install the solenoid O-ring (5) onto the TCC PWM solenoid (7).
  35. Install the TCC PWM spring (2).
  36. Install the TCC PWM valve (3)
  37. Install the TCC PWM sleeve (4)
  38. Align the TCC PWM solenoid (7) so that the electrical connection faces up.
  39. Install the TCC PWM solenoid (7). Seat the solenoid.
  40. Install the solenoid retainer (1).

    41. Object Number: 795112 Size: SH
  41. Align the bolts holes and alignment tabs of the transmission fluid pressure switch (1) with the corresponding holes in the main valve body (1).
  42. Install the transmission fluid pressure switch (1) onto the main valve body (3).
  43. Install the reverse signal pipe (2) onto the main valve body.

  44. Install the O-rings (3) onto shift solenoid G (6).
  45. Install shift solenoid G (6)
  46. Install the shift solenoid G retainer (5) into the bottom of the valve body.
  47. Install the shift solenoid G body (2) assembly
  48. Install the 2 bolts retaining the shift solenoid G valve body and the shift valve body to the main valve body.

    49. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (108 lb in).


    Object Number: 795110 Size: SH

    Important: Seven bolts retain the reverse signal pipe and the transmission fluid pressure switch.

       • Bolt (2) is slightly longer than the other bolts (1).
       • The transmission fluid pressure switch is retained by 5 bolts (1) and by bolt (2).
       • The reverse signal pipe is retained by bolt (1) and by bolt (2).

  49. Install 6 bolts (1) and one bolt (2) retaining the reverse signal pipe and the transmission fluid pressure switch to the main valve body.

    50. Tighten
    Tighten bolts (1) and bolt (2) to 12 N·m (9 lb ft).
