To tilt the cab, do the following:

  1. Locate the lever pin at the rear of the cab, on the passenger's side.

  2. Object Number: 811274  Size: A3
  3. Turn the lever pin so that the tab is aligned with the slot. Remove the lever pin.

  4. Object Number: 811286  Size: B3
  5. Move the primary tilt lever all the way down.

  6. Object Number: 811283  Size: A3
  7. Pull the secondary latch lever to release the hook from the catch at the back of the cab.

  8. Object Number: 811287  Size: B3
  9. Using the handle located at the bottom of the cab at the back, tilt the cab forward.

  10. Object Number: 811270  Size: A3
  11. Tilt the cab all the way forward until the cab support under the cab locks fully.

  12. Remove the safety lock pin from its retainer on the cab support. Insert the pin into the hole in the cab support by aligning the tab with the slot.

Caution: A cab not properly locked in the tilted position could fall, causing serious injury. To ensure that the cab is securely locked in position and will not move, the safety lock pin (A) must always be inserted into the cab support (B) when the cab is in the tilted position.

Caution: Things that burn can get on hot engine parts and start a fire. These include liquids like fuel, oil, coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer and other fluids, and plastic or rubber. You or others could be burned. Be careful not to drop or spill things that will burn onto a hot engine.
