Removal Procedure
- Tilt the cab. Refer to
Cab Tilting
.
- Disconnect the negative battery cables. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
- Remove the drive belts.
- Remove the bolts and washers from the crankshaft damper pulley.
- Remove the crankshaft damper pulley from the crankshaft.
- Inspect the crankshaft pulley for excessive wear, damage or rubber crack. If the crankshaft pulley shows signs of wear, damage or rubber crack, replace the crankshaft pulley.
Installation Procedure
- Install the crankshaft pulley to the crankshaft.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the crankshaft pulley bolt and washer.
Tighten
Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt and washer to 200 N·m (148 lb ft).
- Install the drive belts.
- Connect the negative battery cables. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
- Lower the cab.
