Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1862115 Size: SH
  1. Tilt the cab. Refer to Cab Tilting .
  2. Disconnect the temperature sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the temperature sensor from the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) duct.

Inspection Procedure
  1. Inspect the sensor for damage.
  2. Replace the sensor if worn or damaged.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1862115 Size: SH
  1. Install the sensor into the EGR duct.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the sensor to 20 N·m (14 lb ft).

  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Lower the cab.
