Important: Before removing one or both arm and blade assemblies, mark the windshield in order to indicate proper park position and to aid in reinstallation.

1. Remove the washer hose.



2. Lift the wiper arm nut cover.
3. Remove the wiper arm nut and wiper arm from the wiper transmission.

1. Position the wiper arm on the transmission drive shaft so that the wiper blade aligns with the mark made during removal.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the wiper arm nut.

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 21 N·m (15 lb ft).

3. Install the lower wiper arm nut cover.
4. Install the washer hose.
