Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lower instrument panel trim.
  2. Remove the radio retaining screws.
  3. Remove the storage compartment screws, if equipped.
  4. Disconnect the antenna cable.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  7. Remove the radio.
  8. Remove the storage compartment, if equipped.

  9. Object Number: 214688  Size: SH
  10. Remove the radio brackets.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radio brackets.

  2. Object Number: 214686  Size: SH
  3. Install the storage compartment, if equipped.
  4. Install the radio.
  5. Connect the electrical connectors.
  6. Connect the antenna cable.
  7. Install the storage compartment screws, if equipped.
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Install the radio retaining screws.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  11. Install the lower instrument panel trim.
