For 1990-2009 cars only
  1. Fill the master cylinder. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.
  2. Place the correct size box wrench over the bleeder screw and attach a hose over the screw. Allow the end of the hose to drop into a clear container with enough fluid in it to cover the end of the hose.
  3. With the aid of an assistant, perform the following:
  4. 3.1. Slowly depress the clutch pedal one time and hold.
    3.2. Loosen the bleeder screw to purge the air from the actuator.
    3.3. Tighten the bleeder screw and slowly release the pedal.
    3.4. Check the master cylinder level and fill, if required.
    3.5. Repeat this sequence until all the air is purged.
