Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1389307 Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Support the transmission with safety stands.
  3. Remove the transmission mount to transmission support nuts.
  4. Raise the transmission support off of the transmission mounts.

    5. Object Number: 1389306 Size: SH
  5. Remove the transmission mount to frame nuts.
  6. Remove the transmission mount.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1389306 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission mount to the frame.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transmission mount to frame nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten nuts to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

  3. Lower the transmission onto the transmission mounts.

    4. Object Number: 1389307 Size: SH
  4. Install the transmission support to transmission mount nuts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten nuts to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

  5. Remove body support if used.
  6. Remove the safety stands from the transmission.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
