Removal Procedure

  1. Tilt the cab. Refer to Cab Tilting .
  2. Disconnect the surge tank wiring harness from the rear body mount bracket assembly.
  3. Important: When removing the power steering reservoir assembly and surge tank, keep the systems closed.

  4. Remove and support the surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
  5. Remove and support the power steering reservoir. Refer to Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement .

  7. Remove the oil dipstick retaining bolts and nuts from the rear body mount bracket assembly.

  8. Object Number: 1253437  Size: SH
  9. Remove the air intake bolts from the rear body mount bracket assembly.

  10. Object Number: 1331595  Size: SH
  11. Remove the rear body mount bracket assembly mounting bolts.
  12. Remove the rear body mount bracket assembly from the vehicle.

  13. Object Number: 1331594  Size: SH
  14. Remove the body rear mount bolts.
  15. Remove the body rear mounts from the rear body mount bracket assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1331594  Size: SH
  1. Install the body rear mounts to the body mount bracket assembly.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the body rear mount retaining bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 85 N·m (63 lb ft).

  5. Install the rear body mount bracket assembly to the vehicle.
  6. Install the rear body mount bracket assembly mounting bolts.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

  8. Install the air intake bolts to the rear body mount bracket assembly.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 33 N·m (24 lb ft).

  10. Install the oil dipstick retaining bolts and nuts to the rear body mount bracket assembly.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  12. Install the power steering reservoir. Refer to Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement .
  13. Install the surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
  14. Connect the surge tank wiring harness to the rear body mount bracket assembly.
  15. Lower the cab. Refer to Cab Tilting .
