Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the assist handle bolts.

    2. Object Number: 229889 Size: SH
  2. Remove the assist handle.

    3. Object Number: 588991 Size: SH
  3. Remove the instrument panel lower trim.

    4. Object Number: 229897 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the audio system. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.

    5. Object Number: 229927 Size: SH
  5. Remove the heater module (right side).

    6. Object Number: 574888 Size: SH
  6. Remove the mode actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 574888 Size: SH
  1. Install the mode actuator.

    2. Object Number: 229927 Size: SH
  2. Install the heater module (right side).

    3. Object Number: 229897 Size: SH
  3. Connect the audio system. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.

    4. Object Number: 588991 Size: SH
  4. Install the instrument panel lower trim.

    5. Object Number: 229889 Size: SH
  5. Install the assist handle.
  6. Install the assist handle bolts.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
