Brake Pads Replacement Front, Bendix

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 209267  Size: SH
  1. Remove the brake caliper (5). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .
  2. Remove the inner brake pad from the brake caliper mounting plate (4).

  3. Object Number: 22104  Size: SH
  4. Slide the outer brake pad along the rail in the brake caliper housing to the notches.
  5. Remove the outer brake pad.
  6. Inspect the brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 22104  Size: SH
  1. Install the outer brake pad into the brake caliper housing.
  2. Install the inner brake pad onto the brake caliper mounting plate.

  3. Object Number: 209267  Size: SH
  4. Install the brake caliper (5). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

Brake Pads Replacement Front, Dayton-Walther

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 209264  Size: SH
  1. Remove the brake caliper (5). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 200256  Size: SH
  3. Slide the outer brake pad along the rail in the brake caliper housing to the notches.
  4. Remove the outer brake pad.
  5. Slide the inner brake pad along the rail in the brake caliper housing to the notches.
  6. Remove the inner brake pad.

  7. Object Number: 22102  Size: SH

    Important: Either remove one factory installed Z spring from the brake caliper or remove two service kit springs from the brake pads, if equipped.

  8. Remove the retainer spring(s).
  9. Inspect the brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 237231  Size: SH
  1. Install one service kit brake pad retainer spring on each brake pad.
  2. Reuse the Z spring if the Z spring is undamaged. Discard the service springs if the Z spring is used.

  3. Object Number: 200256  Size: SH
  4. Install the inner brake pad.
  5. Install the outer brake pad.

  6. Object Number: 209264  Size: SH
  7. Install the brake caliper (5). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 209267  Size: SH
  1. Remove the brake caliper (5). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .
  2. Remove the inner brake pad from the brake caliper mounting plate (4).

  3. Object Number: 22104  Size: SH
  4. Slide the outer brake pad along the rail in the brake caliper housing to the notches.
  5. Remove the outer brake pad.
  6. Inspect the brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the outer brake pad into the brake caliper housing.
  2. Install the inner brake pad onto the brake caliper mounting plate.

  3. Object Number: 209267  Size: SH
  4. Install the brake caliper (5). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 209264  Size: SH
  1. Remove the brake caliper (5). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 200256  Size: SH
  3. Slide the outer brake pad along the rail in the brake caliper housing to the notches.
  4. Remove the outer brake pad.
  5. Slide the inner brake pad along the rail in the brake caliper housing to the notches.
  6. Remove the inner brake pad.

  7. Object Number: 22102  Size: SH

    Important: Either remove one factory installed Z spring from the brake caliper or remove two service kit springs from the brake pads, if equipped.

  8. Remove the brake pad retainer spring.
  9. Inspect the brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .
