Removal Procedure
- Locate the external oil filter connected in-line of the transmission oil cooler. The filter is mounted on the right frame rail.
- Place a container under the oil filter in order to catch any draining oil.
- Remove the filter from the oil filter cover.
Installation Procedure
- Apply a light coat of transmission oil to the filter seal.
- Install the filter to the oil filter cover.
- Hand tighten the filter to the oil filter cover.
