Checking with the Water Test Stands

  1. Assemble the water test stands.

  2. Object Number: 259438  Size: SH
  3. Position the stands one on each side of the vehicle. Water spray from the stands should overlap on the vehicle.
  4. Run the water at a volume of 15 liters (3.9 gallons) per minute and at a pressure of 138 kPa (20 psi), measured at the nozzle, for at least four minutes.
  5. Have someone inside the cab during the test in order to check for the location of any leaks.
  6. In order to check the windshield, aim the water spray 30 degrees down and 45 degrees toward the rear.
  7. Aim at the corner of the windshield.

  8. In order to check the side windows, aim the water spray 30 degrees down and 45 degrees toward the rear.
  9. Aim at the center of the rear quarter.

  10. In order to check the back window, aim the water spray 30 degrees down and 30 degrees toward the front.
