Seat Riser Replacement Driver Seat

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 214531  Size: MH
  1. Remove the seat nuts.
  2. Remove the driver seat.

  3. Object Number: 214540  Size: SH
  4. Remove the riser cover bolts (4).
  5. Remove the riser cover (3).
  6. Lift the floor covering upward.
  7. Remove the riser nuts.
  8. Lift the floor covering upward.
  9. Remove the riser bolts.
  10. Remove the riser (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 214531  Size: MH
  1. Install the riser.
  2. Install the riser bolts.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the riser nuts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 31 N·m (23 lb ft).

  6. Install the riser cover (3).
  7. Install the riser cover bolts (4).
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  9. Install the driver seat (1).
  10. Install the seat nuts.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 15 N·m (12 lb ft).

Seat Riser Replacement Passenger Seat

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 214531  Size: MH
  1. Remove the seat nuts.
  2. Remove the passenger seat.

  3. Object Number: 214546  Size: SH
  4. Remove the speedo adapter screws.

  5. Object Number: 214550  Size: SH
  6. Remove the riser cover bolts.
  7. Remove the riser cover.

  8. Object Number: 214553  Size: SH
  9. Remove the brake control module bracket bolts.
  10. Remove the brake control module bracket.

  11. Object Number: 214554  Size: SH
  12. Remove the mount bracket assembly bolts.
  13. Carefully slide the mount bracket assembly forward.
  14. Lift the floor covering upward.
  15. Remove the riser nuts.
  16. Lift the floor covering upward.
  17. Remove the riser bolts.

  18. Object Number: 214542  Size: SH
  19. Remove the riser.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the riser.
  2. Install the riser bolts.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application.   6. Carefully slide the mount bracket assembly rearward.
  7. Install the mount bracket assembly bolts.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  9. Install the brake control module bracket in the vehicle.
  10. Install the brake control module bracket bolts.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).


    Object Number: 214550  Size: SH
  12. Install the riser cover.

  13. Object Number: 214546  Size: SH
  14. Install the speedo adapter screws.
  15. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  16. Install the riser cover bolts.
  17. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  18. Install the seat.
  19. Install the seat nuts.
  20. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 15 N·m (12 lb ft).
