Tools Required

Important: Do not disassemble the countershaft assembly unless an inspection shows bearing or gear damage.

1. Remove the countershaft front bearing race using J 22912-B  (1) and J 8433  (2).



2. Remove the retaining ring from the front of the countershaft.



3. Remove the following gears one at a time using a hydraulic press from the countershaft:

3.1.	The 6th gear (1)

3.2.	The 5th gear (2)

3.3.	The 4th gear (3)

3.4.	The 3rd gear (4)
