Fuel Hose and Pipes Engine to ChassisLines

Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Relieve the fuel pressure at the fuel shrader valve. Place a shop towel over the valve to avoid fuel spray.

  3. Object Number: 1230200  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the fuel lines (4,5) at the engine. Use a backup wrench on the connectors (3) to keep the fuel line from twisting.

  5. Object Number: 1230203  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the fuel lines at the next fuel line fittings (3,2) at the right side frame (1).

  7. Object Number: 1230201  Size: SH
  8. Remove the fuel line clamp bolt (3) at the back of the engine.

  9. Object Number: 1230202  Size: SH
  10. Remove the fuel line mounting clamp (2) at the right side frame.
  11. Remove the fuel line assembly and service as necessary.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel line assembly.

  2. Object Number: 1230202  Size: SH
  3. Install the fuel line mounting clamp (2) at the right side frame.

  4. Object Number: 1230200  Size: SH
  5. Install the fuel lines (4,5) at the engine.

  6. Object Number: 1230203  Size: SH
  7. Install the fuel lines at the next fuel line fittings (3,2) at the right side frame (1).

  8. Object Number: 1230201  Size: SH
  9. Install the fuel line clamp bolt (3) at the back of the engine.
  10. Start the engine and inspect for fuel leaks.

Fuel Hose and Pipes Front Chassis Lines

Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Relieve the fuel pressure at the fuel shrader valve. Place a shop towel over the valve to avoid fuel spray.

  3. Object Number: 1230203  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the fuel lines (2,3) at the Engine-to-Chassis lines. Use a backup wrench on the connectors to keep the fuel line from twisting.

  5. Object Number: 1230206  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the fuel lines at fittings (1,2,4) in front of the fuel filter (3).
  7. Remove the fuel line sections and repair as necessary.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel line sections.
  2. Start the engine and inspect for fuel leaks.

Fuel Hose and Pipes Rear Chassis Lines

Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Relieve the fuel pressure at the fuel shrader valve. Place a shop towel over the valve to avoid fuel spray.
  3. Disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter. Use a backup wrench to keep the fuel line from twisting.

  4. Object Number: 1230212  Size: SH
  5. Remove the fuel lines from the fuel line clips (1) near the rear axle.

  6. Object Number: 1230214  Size: SH
  7. Remove the fuel lines from the fuel line clips (2) near the shock absorber.

  8. Object Number: 1230210  Size: SH
  9. Remove the fuel line clamp (1).

  10. Object Number: 1230215  Size: SH
  11. Remove the four bolts attaching the fuel sender cover (1) to the fuel tank and remove the cover.

  12. Object Number: 1230219  Size: SH
  13. Disconnect the fuel lines (1,2,3) from the fuel sender using a J 41769 .
  14. Remove the fuel line assembly and service as necessary.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel line assembly.

  2. Object Number: 1230219  Size: SH
  3. Connect the fuel lines (1,2,3) on the fuel sender.

  4. Object Number: 1230215  Size: SH
  5. Install the fuel sender cover (1) and the four bolts attaching it to the fuel tank.

  6. Object Number: 1230210  Size: SH
  7. Install the fuel line clamp (1).

  8. Object Number: 1230212  Size: SH
  9. Install the fuel lines in the fuel line clips (1) near the rear axle.

  10. Object Number: 1230214  Size: SH
  11. Install the fuel lines in the fuel line clips (2) near the shock absorber.
  12. Install the fuel line at the fuel filter.
  13. Start the engine and inspect for fuel leaks.
