Makes 🢒 Isuzu 🢒 2009 🢒 Isuzu - N Series 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, or 7.0L 🢒 Fuel Hose/Pipes Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 601679 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Clean all the fuel pipe and hose connections and the surrounding areas before disconnecting in order to avoid possible contamination of the fuel system.
  3. Remove the fuel filler cap.
  4. Drain the fuel below the level of the fuel tank fill hose.
  5. Raise the vehicle.
  6. Loosen the fuel fill hose clamps (2, 3).
  7. Remove the fuel fill hose (6).
  8. Cap the open end of the fuel tank.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 601679 Size: SH
  1. Uncap the fuel tank.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fuel fill hose (6).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel fill hose clamps (2, 3) to 2.75 N·m (24 lb in).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Refill the fuel tank.
  5. Install the fuel filler cap.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
