Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 54608 Size: SH
  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Removal.
  2. Remove the knock sensor (KS) wiring harness assembly.

    3. Object Number: 54612 Size: SH
  3. Remove the KS.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 54612 Size: SH
  1. Install the KS.

    2. Tighten
    Torque the sensor to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).


    Object Number: 54608 Size: SH
  2. Install the KS wiring harness assembly.
  3. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Installation.
