Makes 🢒 Isuzu 🢒 1997 🢒 S/T Isuzu - 2WD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.3L 🢒 Engine Front Cover Installation

    Important: Once the composite engine front cover is removed do not reinstall the cover. Always install a new engine front cover.


    Object Number: 4068 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine front cover.
  2. Install the engine front cover bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).


    Object Number: 11485 Size: SH

    Important: Do not reuse the original O-ring seal when installing onto crankshaft sensor body. Lubricate new O-ring seal with engine oil. When installing crankshaft position sensor be sure the sensor is fully seated and held stationary in the engine front cover bore. Torque hold down to the specification shown below. A sensor that is not seated will cock in the enigne front cover bore and may result in erratic engine operation.

  3. Install engine crankshaft position sensor.
  4. Install crankshaft position sensor bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
