DEFINITION: Neither the headlamps nor the parking lamps operate. However, the windshield wipers do operate.

1. Locate the BLK (2) fusible link at the Battery Junction Block.
2. Test the fusible link by pulling on the RED (2) wire attached to the fusible link.

Did the BLU fusible link wiring jacket stretch or break when pulled?

Locate and repair the open circuit in the RED (2) wire between Splice S116 and Splice S224.

Are the repairs completed?

1. Remove ECM BATT Fuse 9 from the I/P Fuse Block.
2. Connect a self-powered test lamp between I/P Fuse Block Cavity F6 for the RED (2) wire and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

1. Locate and repair the short to ground on the RED (2) wire between the Battery Junction Block, the I/P Fuse Block, and the Headlamp Switch.
2. Replace the BLK (2) fusible link at the Battery Junction Block.
3. Install ECM BATT Fuse 9 in the I/P Fuse Block.

Are the repairs complete?
