Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 449286 Size: SH
  1. Remove the master cylinder rod from the clutch pedal.

    2. Object Number: 449289 Size: SH
  2. Turn the master cylinder 45° counterclockwise to unlock the master cylinder.
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the clutch master cylinder start switch.
  4. Remove the clutch master cylinder from the dash panel.

    5. Object Number: 416721 Size: SH
  5. Using J 42371, remove the clutch line from the concentric slave cylinder.

    6. Object Number: 449284 Size: SH
  6. Remove the clips securing the clutch line to the heat shield and panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 449284 Size: SH
  1. Install the clips securing the clutch line to the heat shield and panel.

    2. Object Number: 416721 Size: SH
  2. Pull back on the connector sleeve and connect the clutch line to the concentric slave cylinder.

    3. Object Number: 449289 Size: SH
  3. Position the clutch master cylinder into the cowl panel hole.
  4. Turn the master cylinder 45° counter clockwise to lock the master cylinder.

    5. Object Number: 449286 Size: SH
  5. Connect the master cylinder rod to the clutch pedal.
