Ignition and Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle Column Shift

1. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Trim Covers, Shift Lever Seal - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .



2. Remove the wire harness assembly (1) from the steering column and the wire harness strap (2).



3. Slide the 2 connectors (2) of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly out of the bulkhead connector (1).



4. Rotate the key alarm connector (1) 90 degrees.
5. Pull the key alarm connector (1) out of the lock module assembly (2).
6. Remove the passkey connector from the lock module assembly (2).



7. Slide the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3) out of the lock module assembly (1).

Ignition and Key Alarm Switch Assembly - Disassemble - Off Vehicle Floor Shift

1. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Trim Covers, Shift Lever Seal - Disassemble - Off Vehicle .



2. Remove the wire harness assembly (1) from the steering column and the wire harness strap (2).



3. Slide the 2 connectors (2) of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly out of the bulkhead connector (1).



4. Remove the key alarm connector (1) from the lock module assembly (2) in the following way:

4.1.	Rotate the key alarm connector (1) 90 degrees.

4.2.	Pull the key alarm connector (1) out of the lock module assembly (2).

4.3.	Remove the passkey connector from the lock module assembly (2).




5. Remove the connector (2) from the electric park lock (1).



6. Slide the ignition and key alarm switch assembly (3) out of the lock module assembly (1).
