Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement Bucket Seat

1. Remove the seat adjuster trim covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .



2. Remove the seat mounting nuts.
3. Remove the seat mounting bolts.
4. Guide the seat belts through the slots in the seat in order to remove the seat from the vehicle.

1. Guide the seat belts through the slots in the seat in order to install the seat to the vehicle.




Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the seat mounting nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the seat mounting nuts to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

3. Install the seat mounting bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the seat mounting bolts to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

4. Install the seat adjuster trim covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .
5. Connect the battery negative cable.

Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement Bench Seat

1. Remove the seat adjuster trim covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .



2. Remove the seat mounting nuts.
3. Remove the seat mounting bolts.
4. Guide the seat belts through the slots in the seat. Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).

3. Install the seat mounting bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

4. Install the seat adjuster trim covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.

Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement Jump Seat

1. Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .



2. Remove the jump seat retaining bolts and nuts.
3. Remove the jump seat from the vehicle.

1. Install the jump seat to the vehicle.

2. Install the jump seat retaining bolts and nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts nuts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

3. Install the body side trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
