  1. Connect a test lamp between CKT 1020 (PNK) cluster connector terminal A8 and ground.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

  1. Inspect the CLSTR fuse for an open or a poor connection.
  2. If the fuse is OK, repair the open in CKT 1020 (PNK) between the IP fuse block cavity L5 and the IP cluster connector cavity A8.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Is positive battery voltage present at CKT 1020 (PNK) IP cluster connector cavity A8?

Battery positive voltage

Go to Step 4

  1. Connect a test lamp between CKT 39 (PNK) at the cluster connector terminal A7 and ground.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

  1. Inspect the GAUGES fuse for an open or a poor connection.
  2. Repair the open in the CKT 39 (PNK) between the IP Fuse Block cavity J7 and the IP cluster connector cavity A7 if the GAUGES fuse is OK.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Is positive battery voltage present at CKT 39 (PNK) IP cluster connector cavity A7?

Battery positive voltage

Go to Step 6

  1. Connect a test lamp between CKT 1220 (GRY) at the cluster connector terminal B2 and ground.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEAD position.
  4. Adjust the dimmer switch for full brightness.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 8

  1. Inspect the ILLUM fuse for an open or a poor connection.
  2. Repair CKT 1220 (GRY) between the IP fuse block cavity N5 and the IP cluster connector cavity B2 if the fuse is OK.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Turn the headlamp switch to the HEADLAMPS position.
  5. Adjust the dimmer switch for full brightness.

Is positive battery voltage present at CKT 1220 (GRY) IP cluster cavity A7?

Battery positive voltage

Go to Step 8

Connect a test lamp between CKT 340 (ORN) cluster connector terminal A10 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 10

  1. Inspect the RDO BATT fuse for an open or a poor connection.
  2. Repair the open in the CKT 340 (ORN) between the IP fuse block cavity C1 and the IP cluster connector cavity A10 if the RDO BATT fuse is OK.

Is positive battery voltage present at CKT 340 (ORN) IP cluster connector cavity A10?

Battery positive voltage

Go to Step 10

Connect a test lamp between CKT 340 (ORN) at the IP cluster connector terminal A10 and CKT 451 (BLK/WHT) ground at terminal A9.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 12

Repair the open in CKT 451 (BLK/WHT) between the IP cluster connector terminal A9 and ground.

Is the repair complete?

Go to IPC System Check

Connect a test lamp between CKT 340 (ORN) at the IP cluster connector  A10 and the CKT 1850 (BLK) ground wire at terminal B3.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to IPC System Check

Go to Step 13

Repair the open in CKT 1850 (BLK) between the IP cluster connector terminal B3 and ground.

Is the repair complete?
