Inspect fuse 7.

Is fuse 7 open?

Go to Step 4

Repair a short to ground in CKT 840 (ORN).

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

1. Disconnect the outside rear view mirror switch electrical connector.
2. Using a DMM between CKT 840 (ORN), cavity G and ground.

Is there voltage present?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Repair an open in CKT 840 (ORN).

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

Connect a DMM between CKT 1850 (BLK) cavity B and B+.

Is there voltage present?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Repair an open in CKT 1850 (BLK) between the rear view mirror and ground G202.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

--

Replace the outside rear view mirror switch.

Is the repair complete?

--
