Makes 🢒 Isuzu 🢒 1999 🢒 S/T Isuzu - 4WD 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Body Control System 🢒 PASSLOCK Reprogramming Auto Learn

Perform a Passlock™ learn procedure if you replaced any of the following components:

    • The Passlock™ sensor
    • The body control module
    • The powertrain control module
    • The vehicle control module

All of the above modules except for the Passlock™ sensor must be programmed using their own vehicle configuration. See the individual module service manual section.

There are 2 types of Passlock learn procedures:

    • A 10 minute Seed and Key procedure which requires a Techline Terminal and a Tech 2 scan tool. Refer to PASSLOCK Reprogramming Seed and Key
    • A 30 minute Auto Learn procedure which requires a scan tool in order to clear codes. This procedure is listed below:

Auto Learn - 30 Minute Procedure
  1. Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
  2. Use a scan tool in order to clear the Passlock™ DTCs.
  3. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the CRANK position, and then to the RUN position.

    4. The vehicle will start and then stall.

  4. Leave the ignition ON until the security telltale turns OFF in 10 minutes.
  5. Repeat steps 3-4 twice more (3 times total).
  6. The Passlock™ controller will learn the new data on the next start attempt.
  7. Use a scan tool in order to clear all DTCs.
