Did you perform the Power Windows System Check?

  1. Access the left door lock and side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) to CKT 167 (TAN), terminal D and CKT 166 (LT BLU), terminal B at the left door lock and side window switch connector C2.
  4. Operate the right window at the left door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN position.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 3

Inspect for a poor connection at the left door lock and side window switch.

Is the connection OK?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the connection as necessary.

Is the repair complete?

--

Replace the left door lock and side window switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Access the right side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 166 (LT BLU), terminal J at the right window switch connector and ground.
  4. Ensure that the right window switch connector remains connected.
  5. Operate the right window at the left door lock and side window switch in the UP position.
  6. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 8

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in CKT 166 (LT BLU) between the right window switch connector, terminal J and the left door lock and side window switch connector, terminal B.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 167 (TAN), terminal L at the right window switch connector C1 and ground.
  2. Ensure that the right window switch connector C1 remains connected.
  3. Operate the right window at the left door lock and side window switch in the DOWN position.
  4. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 10

Locate and repair the open or high resistance in CKT 167 (TAN) between the right window switch connector, terminal L and the left door lock and side window switch connector, terminal D.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 666 (DK BLU), terminal G and CKT 667 (BRN), terminal K at the right window switch connector C1.
  2. Operate the right window at the left door lock and side window switch in the DOWN position.
  3. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 14

Inspect for a poor connection at the right door lock and side window switch.

Is the connection OK?

  1. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 666 (DK BLU), terminal B at the right door lock and side window switch and CKT 667 (BRN), terminal A at the right window regulator motor connector.
  2. Operate the right window switch in the DOWN position.
  3. Test for voltage.

Is Ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 16

Locate and repair the open or high resistance at CKT 667 (BRN) between terminal A at the right window regulator motor connector and terminal K at the right window switch connector C1.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Windows System Check

  1. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 666 (DK BLU), terminal B and CKT 667 (BRN), terminal A at the right window regulator motor connector.
  2. Operate the right window switch in the UP position.
  3. Test for voltage.

Is Ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 18

Locate and repair the open or high resistance at CKT 666 (DK BLU) between terminal B at the right window regulator motor connector and terminal G at the right window switch connector C1.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect for a poor connection at the right side window regulator motor.

Is the connection OK?

Go to Step 20
