Did you perform the Power Windows System Check?

  1. Access the left door lock and side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) to ground and CKT 1001 (DK GRN), terminal L at the left door lock and side window switch connector C1.
  4. Ensure that the connector C1 remains connected.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 4

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 1001 (DK GRN) between the power window circuit breaker and the left door lock and side window switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Windows System Check

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 1001 (DK GRN), terminal L at the left door lock and side window switch connector C1 and CKT 1850 (BLK), terminal C at the left door lock and side window switch connector C2.
  3. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 6

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 1850 (BLK) between the left door lock and side window switch connector C2 and G202.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 164 (DK BLU), terminal A and CKT 165 (BRN), terminal E at the left door lock and side window switch connector C2.
  3. Ensure that the connector C2 remains connected.
  4. Operate the left side window regulator switch in the UP/DOWN position.
  5. Test for voltage.
  6. Connect the J 39200 DMM to CKT 166 (LT BLU), terminal B and CKT 167 (TAN), terminal D at the left door lock and side window switch connector C2.
  7. Ensure that the connector C2 remains connected.
  8. Operate the right side window regulator switch in the UP/DOWN position.
  9. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Replace the left door lock and side window switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 164 (DK BLU), terminal B at the left front side window regulator motor and CKT 165 (BRN), terminal E at the left door lock and side window switch connector C2.
  3. Ensure that the connector C2 remains connected.
  4. Operate the left side window regulator switch in the UP position.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 10

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 164 (DK BLU) between the left door lock and side window switch and the left side window regulator motor.

Is the left side window regulator now operational?

Go to Step 15

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 164 (DK BLU), terminal A at the left door lock and side window switch connector C2 and CKT 165 (BRN), terminal A at the left side window regulator motor connector.
  3. Ensure that the connectors remain connected.
  4. Operate the left side window regulator switch in the DOWN position.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 12

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 165 (BRN) between the left door lock and side window switch and the left side window regulator motor.

Is the left side window regulator now operational?

Go to Step 15

Inspect for a poor connection at the left side window regulator motor.

Is the connection OK?

--

Go to Step 14

Repair the connection as necessary.

Is the left side window regulator now operational?

Is the left side window regulator now operational?

  1. Access the right door lock and window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 166 (LT BLU), terminal J at the right door lock and window switch connector C1 and ground.
  4. Ensure that the right door lock and window switch connector C1 remains connected.
  5. Operate the right side window regulator motor at the left door lock and side window switch in the UP position.
  6. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 17

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 166 (LT BLU) between the left door lock and side window switch and the right door lock and window switch connector.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 167 (TAN), terminal L at the right door lock and window switch connector C1 and ground.
  3. Ensure that the right door lock and window switch connector C1 remains connected.
  4. Operate the right side window regulator motor at the left door lock and side window switch in the DOWN position.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

IGN+

Go to Step 19

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 167 (TAN) between the left door lock and side window switch and the right door lock and side window switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 667 (BRN), terminal K and CKT 666 (DK BLU), terminal G at the right door lock and window switch connector C1.
  3. Ensure that the connector C1 remains connected.
  4. Operate the right side window regulator motor from the left door lock and side window switch in the UP/DOWN position.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is ignition voltage present?

Inspect for a poor connection at the right door lock and window switch.

  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 667 (BRN), terminal K at the right door lock and window switch connector C1 and CKT 666 (DK BLU), terminal B at the right window regulator motor connector.
  3. Ensure that the connectors remain connected.
  4. Operate the right side window regulator motor from the left door lock and side window switch in the UP position.
  5. Test for voltage.

Is Ignition voltage present?

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 666 (DK BLU) between the right door lock and side window switch and the right window regulator motor connectors.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM to CKT 667 (BRN), terminal A and CKT 666 (DK BLU), terminal B at the right window regulator motor connector.
  3. Ensure that the connector remains connected.
  4. Operate the right side window regulator motor from the left door lock and side window switch in the DOWN position.
  5. Test for voltage.

Repair the open or high resistance in CKT 667 (BRN) between the right door lock and side window switch and the right window regulator motor.

Is the repair complete?
