Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to
Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to
Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Remove the bolts that
retain the front run channel to the door.
- Carefully pull the front run channel in order to disengage the
run channel from the window weather-strip.
- Remove the front run channel from the door.
- Slide the window forward.
- Remove the bolts that retain the rear run channel to the door.
- Carefully pull the front run channel in order to disengage the
run channel from the window weather-strip.
- Remove the rear run channel from the door.
Installation Procedure
- Install the rear run channel
to the door.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the bolts
that retain the rear run channel to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (88 lb in).
- Slide the window rearward into the rear run channel.
- Install the front run channel to the door.
- Install the bolts that retain the front run channel to the door.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (88 lb in).
- Install the water deflector. Refer to

- Install the door trim panel. Refer to
Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
