SUBJECT: INFORMATION ON NEW SPECIAL TOOL - J28467-330 ENGINE SUPPORT FIXTURE ADAPTER

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1992-93 "N" MODEL WITH 3.3L (VIN N, RPO LG7) AND AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE

THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES AND REPLACES PRODUCT SERVICE BULLETIN 92-633-105 (DATED JULY 15/92). THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO INCLUDE THE 93 MODEL YEAR.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

o Use J 28467-330 Engine Support Fixture Adapter for supporting the engine when servicing engine/transmission components.

o To use J 28467-330 adapter:

1. Loosen pilot bolts on both ends of adapter.

2. Place pilot bolts in holes in tie bar, refer to Figure 1 - View B.

3. Tighten pilot bolts.

4. Attach J 28467-A to strut towers and place the leg of J 28467-A on adapter as shown in Figure 1.

5. Attach engine support hooks to engine support fixture and engine lift hooks.

NOTICE: Failure to use J 28467-330 in conjunction with J 28467-A to support engine may cause damage to body or engine components.

o J28467-330 Engine Support Fixture Adapter tool was scheduled to be delivered to dealers on 7-1-92.
