Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement for Oldsmobile Achieva 1998

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



2. Remove the oil pan drain plug.
3. Drain the engine oil.



4. Remove the oil filter.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the oil filter to the engine.



2. Install the oil pan drain plug.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Fill engine to the proper level with oil.
5. Start engine and check for leaks.
