Problem

Action

    • The telltale lights after the start up procedure
    • The telltale lights intermittently
    • The scan tool registers DTCs for one or more modules

Record all of the DTCs for each module. Refer to the appropriate Diagnostic System Check:

  1. Supplemental Inflatable Restraint in SIR
  2. VTD in Theft Deterrent System
  3. Instrument Panel Cluster Microprocessor in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console
  4. EBCM in Engine Controls
  5. Antilock Brake System in ABS

The PRNDL illumination is incorrect with the correct gear indication
