Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 73898 Size: SH
  1. Note the position of the hoses for installation.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector and hoses from solenoid.
  3. Release the lock tab on the purge valve mounting bracket.
  4. Remove the purge valve from the bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 73898 Size: SH
  1. Bend tab on mounting bracket to retain the EVAP purge solenoid valve.
  2. Install thepurge valve to the mounting bracket.
  3. Once installed pull on the purge valve to ensure that the part will be held in place.
  4. Connect the electrical connector and hoses to purge valve.
