Go to Diagnostic System Check - Audible Warnings

1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
2. Disconnect the seat belt swicth connector.

Did the fasten belts chime stop?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the seat belt switch. Refer to Driver Seat Side Belt Replacement in Seat Belts.

Did you complete the repair?

System OK

Inspect CKT 238 for a short to ground.

Did you find and correct a condition?

System OK

Go to Step 5

Replace the multi-function alarm module. Refer to Multifunction Alarm Module Replacement.

Did you complete the repair?

System OK
